Primark Consultancy (PM) follows a fully open-access publishing model for all its journals, allowing unrestricted access and reuse of the articles. Each journal operates under Creative Commons licenses, ensuring that authors retain the copyright to their work.
To support this publishing model, authors are required to pay a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC), which helps cover essential costs, including the management of peer review, professional formatting of articles in PDF and other formats, website maintenance, and distribution across various platforms.
There are no submission fees or additional charges based on article length, figures, or supplementary materials. Articles that are not accepted are not subject to any fees. Additionally, certain types of content, such as Editorials, Corrections, Retractions, and Comments, are published without any charge. This model ensures that PM maintains high-quality publishing standards while ensuring accessibility for all.
Waivers and Discounts
- Authors from PM Member Institutes are eligible for reduced APCs.
- Editors and members of the editorial board can publish their articles without any cost.
- PM offers discounted APCs for corresponding authors from countries recognized as low-income economies by the World Bank.
- Requests for additional waivers or discounts are considered based on the author’s country of origin and the manuscript’s quality. Editorial decisions are based solely on the merit of the submission, and editors and reviewers are unaware of the author’s financial situation.
